Trade Enlistment
Rules and Regulations for New Trade Licence/Trade Enlistment Certificate
a. Application in prescribed form (to be collected from cash counter of this municipal office) to be submitted duly recommended by the local councillor along with following papers/documents.
1. Photocopy of current Tax receipt.
2. Current Rent receipt in case the trade/business is situated in a rented house.
3. No objection from the owner of house if it is without rent and this is applicable only if both the owner and Tenant are related to each other.
4. In case of partnership business, photo copy of the deed or at least an affidavit from Notary.
5. In case of Private Limited Company, a photocopy of Memorandum of Articles.
The licence may be issued within 7 days if all the papers/documents are found correct.
b. Renewal of Trade licence/Trade Enlistment Certificate
1. Application to chairman in plain paper.
2. Photocopy of current Tax receipt.
3. Photocopy of previous Trade licence.
4. Photocopy of current professional Tax receipt.
5. In case of non-renewal for certain year Fine to be paid @ Rs. 100/= per year along with prescribed renewal fees.
The renewal of licence may be given within 3 (three) days if all papers/documents are found correct.
Introduction: A license-Inspector is there as the departmental in-charge. Enlistment certificates are being issued. Other tasks include issue of license to rickshaw pullers, van pullers and others. The entire task is periodically supervised by the Executive Officer. Computerization has already been taken place in the department.
